A couple of weeks ago Kailey woke up with a few hives on her bum and stomach, which grew to large hives ALL over her body including her poor swollen eyes. The poor thing! These pictures are no where near how bad it got. I took her into the pediatrician and they were like Whoa! They put her on 3 days of steroids and she will be on Zyrtec for a month and a half. It took a good 4-5 days before we stopped seeing hives. It was pretty freaky to see our sweet Kailey with big swollen eyes. She was quite the trooper. Other than some occasional annoying itches she handled it rather well. We really don't know what caused it for sure but we decided to get rid of our Freshly cut down Christmas tree :o( We also cleaned the carpets, stopped anything we though might be different and opened the windows and let the furnace run. She is looking pretty good now so hopefully it continues. Kind of scary though!
